TECHNICAL DESIGN SPECIALIST
As a Technical Design Specialist, you'll analyze designer-submitted orders to ensure functionality and standards compliance. You'll communicate with designers to resolve issues and suggest improvements, leveraging your understanding of cabinet construction. Building strong relationships, and creating a positive customer experience are crucial aspects of this role.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Proficiency in analyzing orders, floor plans, and sketches submitted by designers, and preparing them for engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of AutoCAD being a plus.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Eagerness to learn about materials and construction methods, and collaborate with engineers to address designer requirements and cabinet construction needs.
- One-year custom cabinetry technical order processing experience (Preferred)
EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Developer to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ASP.NET MVC and C# and a passion for developing high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with associates from other departments to define IT needs and design solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server database and SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Support and maintain legacy applications using .NET Windows Forms and FoxPro.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
- Assist in the development and documentation of procedures for using IT systems.
- Support users by helping with general IT issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Software development experience with C# or similar programming language.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork ability.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and C#.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with FoxPro is a plus.
